Browser extension
See, on any site, whether its publishing standards are on the record. Nothing on the record for this site? Ask them to go on the record.
The extension is not released yet. What exists and what does not is on the state page.
This domain's publishing standards are on the record at publishingpolicy.org.
The extension reads the record from publishingpolicy.org itself, never from the site you are on, so nothing on a page can fool it.
On record, none in effect, or not recorded. The same three words as the badge, and nothing else: no score, no grade, no verdict on the site.
It carries the list of recorded addresses and checks against it locally, so nothing about your browsing leaves your device unless you click through to a record.
